Default Zups flying!

first time since i got him last year, the local vet did a hack job on his wings.. he went for short umm, crash landings is all you could call em, last week but now hes flying the whole length of the kitchen and then crash landing mostly on the frames hanging on the all

looks like I'll not have many more of them left! anyhow its a huge step for him but now means theres no more outings into the garden without being caged in some way

We have that here too. I remember Nate posting a while back that landings were difficult as well for one of his birds. It does seem like it's a skill that needs a lot of practice to master.

Do you hold your breath waiting for that landing? I swear I don't even breathe when Kita flies cause all I'm thinking about is the landing and where it might be.

with zup yes... cause i just dont know what hes gonna break next,be it something in the house or his own bones. now that hes flying all the waterford crystal has been removed as well as mirrors, vases and the fish tank.. scared stiff he'll break em and end up hurting himself

i have to say though marley learned to land pretty quickly only took him 3 or 4 tries
