Well, I get a call from my grandmother today. She was giving me and update on the lovies, Chipper and Solo. I've been trying to find another mate to replace little Abby who passed away. Anyway, the other day she had to clean Chipper's cage. She took a perch and Chipper stepped up. Well, she didn't know where to put Chipper so she put her inside Solo's cage! Well when I heard that I thought surely she was calling to tell me what Chipper did to poor Solo. Boy was I in for a surprise! She said that though they pecked at each other at first, they have been cuddling and playing for the past few days, acting like they've been together forever! I warned her that female PF Lovebirds are unpredictable and that Chipper could very well hurt Solo, but so far, they're acting perfect for each other!

Who would have thought? I'm still on the cautious side, but...ugh, what a crazy, crazy thing!

Awww! maybe they are getting warmed up for Valentines Day!

its a Lovebird thing!!

I think so. She's been putting them together for a while then taking them out before bedtime (Chipper is territorial with her sleeping areas).
