Cool Our Little heidi

This so nice to include our other pets. We also have a dog that we have had 12 years. She is one or two yrs older than that. She was found by a friends mother in an apt dumpster in the coldest winter we had in years with the windchill it was -40. The friends couldn't keep her and so we took her. She has been the best dog ever she will go anywhere she goes in the canoe rides on the front of the kayka. She is also at Simons beck and call he know if he gets on her that she will take him to the nearest human. Simon also feeds her and she loves his pellet food. Has always been great with the fids maybe a little to trusting. As she had been starved she has never gotten over this and while never having gone with out food here will take anything the a human has not nailed down including the garbage but we all have our little things. She is the best dog ever and while she has slowed down will try to keep up when at the campground demanding a swim at lest twice a day then a long sleep in her lounger she won't sleep on the ground when wet and has her own chair on the deck of the trailer. I don't know how much time she has left she has arthritist and is slowing down but I will make her time the best letting her do the things that make her give me that doggy smile like swimming with the kids and riding with dad with her lifejacket. She looks soo cute in her lifejacket and wears it without complaint and knows it means a ride wich she loves. That is our family.

Here is a pic of Heidi with her xmas present she loves it and when she comes in covered in snow or wet from the rain she heads her first. It is heated and other than the recliner wich also has heat it is where you can find her most days. She is starting to slow down now and is having some trouble getting around but she will try anything. Keke has learned that if she throws food on the floor the dog will run for it so it seems the dog eats as much of the birds food as they do.

She's VERY pretty and sounds like she's quite the sweetheart.

I have a 14 year old Pom here that went without also in her prior home and has the same tendencies you describe. I swear she would literally bust if I let her eat as much food as she wants. It's sad, but some things they just never get over.

She's adorable! One of our dogs loves to ride in the boat and even go tubing with us. She looks so cute in her lifejacket!
