So I was searching for bird cages on CL last night and came across a 2 year old blue Indian Ringneck in Ft. Myers that someone is rehoming because "they don't have the proper time for him anymore".

Their loss, my possible gain! Joe has been wanting a sweet Indian Ringneck or Alexandrine since we lost our lutino IRN, Baby, no thanks to my mum's Husky.

We're going to go visit him Friday (tomorrow evening) to see if there's any possibility. They say he's tame, but we'll see

Joe and I are really excited!

Oh, I almost bought one last summer. I keept going back to the pet shop untill he was gone. I told myself, one more week and if he's still there.

I had a Ring Neck a few years back and he was a joy.
And, Missy, you should have room for this one.

I KNOW, RIGHT! Joe is such a hypocrite on this one, however, I'm not calling him out on it because I've been wanting another IRN as well!

Hope this little bluie is friendly...we've set up with the current owners to visit Friday evening around 6ish. She said her daughter is really upset, though

I called the lady for directions and she goes in to telling me how her daughter ran away because she is selling HER bird. I guess the daughter loves the bird and want to keep him, but she doesn't spend enough time with him and is gone a lot.....goodness!!

I'm kind of frightened and feel bad to go over there tomorrow....
