Here's our latest rescue, A beautiful little Senegal.
History is very vague, the previous owner said she was number 4 to own the bird.
She called me and asked me to come and get this bird from hell.
She had placed the bird in a cardboard box and taped it shut, no air holes...
She said the bird was the meanest bird she has ever encountered.
Now, I ask you...does this little one look mean to you?




This is a wonderful little bird, and such a pretty whistle.
He was kept in a basement and caged with a Parakeet, and the poor little parakeet was chased constently, I hope that little Parakeet gets some real rest tonite.
Well, Rose Ann is on her way to buy this new bird a cage.
The owner called the bird DEVIL.
That definately needs to change.

Sure doesn't look mean to me. Looks sweet. Call her Devilishly Sweet. I'm sure Rose Ann will make up for the poor living arrangement and get her a nice roomy cage.

I see the one picture looks like there's something wrong with one eye.
There isn't, we don't know the sex but this little one is fine and healthy.
A vet visit will be real soon.
& a bath tonite...
Rose and I are very greatful this little one found his/her way to us.

The feather condition is poor tho Arty - Once you change the diet & offer some light - the poor thing will be unrecognizable.

Sweet Arty and Rose! That is the nicest bird ever! He was just mean to that woman because she apparantly was trying to kill him! so happy he is with you all!
