Default Easy Beaded Boing

Supplies:

1 1/2 FT. S.S. wire 16 or 18 gauge. You can find it at Gray feathers... or look around

Grey Feather Toys parrot toys, parrot food, bird play gyms and bird care products

Plastic beads, assorted shapes & sizes are fun.
Wooden pieces, balls , spools...
Tools
Wire cutters
Round nosed pliers
File
Sandpaper

Straighten out your wire, Make a loop on the end for the hanger. Twist the wire around as tight as you can, then sand the end so it is not sharp...
I first put on a toy with a large hole to cover the wire, then started adding beads & stuff. I also ended with a large holed toy to cover the bottom loop. Don't forget to sand the end of the bottom loop also.
You can add toys in the loop if you want... I decided to stuff my loop
Then you take the finished beaded wire and wrap it around a round container.. I used a deodorant can, to give it the boing shape.

Clickable:

Make your top hoop, cover it with large holed toy.

Fill wire with different shape beads, end with another large holed bead. Bend wire over.

Make your hoop and sand the sharp end.

Shape into boing shape.

Bend up ends.

Add clasp

Decorate bottom hoop

Have fun with it and show us your finished products... I love to see what other ideas people come up with..

Here are the one's I made:

My little guys love this...

I am definitely going to try that for my fids. It looks easy enough for even me to make and I think they may actually like it. They love beads and they love boings so sounds like the perfect combination.
