Default Straw thingy

OK... back on a toy kick:

Things you will need:

Colorful straws ~~~ Plastic beads
Safty razor ~~~ Plastic connectors
Chop stick

Clickable:

Set your supplies up

I start by cutting all the straws.

I put the chop stick in one end of the straw, twirl the chop stick to the end. It takes a little practice, but it is easy.

I used bendable straws so then I cut off the bendy top

I start filling the connector with the straws

Start adding beads

Finished product

Hang in cage for hours of fun...

I have questions -
Does the bead hole have to be a bit smaller than the straw - so they don't fall off?
Or is having the beads fall off not a big deal & the real reason this is a good toy?
Or do they just stay on?

It takes a while for my birds to get the beads off... I just like to watch them play with it....
