do your dogs do this?

Okay, lemme preface this with - Spot is our almost 11 year old JRT. He hasn't done this particular behavior in YEARS.

When he's in a reallly playful mood or wants our attention he finds the nearest piece of plastic & starts ripping/tearing at it; growling & barking all the while.

He used to literally RIP plastic grocery bags into shreds - leaving him with plastic between his teeth.

It is for the attention I think, not sure though. Anyway, it always makes us laugh because he looks like such an idiot.

He sounds adorable, and fiesty! The only dog of ours that does something similar is Sophie, our 4 year old min. dachshund. When she gets really excited she'll bolt over to the dog toy basket, grab any toy with a squeaker in it and just go to town! She ignores the toy itself, just does the squeak over and over and over and......

LOL that's a hoot! Our almost 9 year old Chihuahua who btw only weights 3 pounds, loves to attack the vacuum cleaner, the broom and the mop, it cracks us up every time she does it, what a goof ball.

I had a toy pom that would pick up anything and bring it as a gift.
