What are you discovering are your Linnie's favorite type of toys? Has anyone come up with any creative home made toys? Are there any "MUST HAVES?"

My linnie doesn't play that much with toys. She does love to cuddle next to a bird that I have in her cage and she likes to pick at some stringed beads that hang in her cage. The one thing she does love to do is to tear apart paper.

Nancy~ My Budgies don't play with their toys much either. I might try the straw thingy for them though.

Another question... would you reccomend Budgie size toys only or a little bigger like conure size?

Linnies like bells, beads, wood... they do not distroy toys... but stay away from stringy, shreddy rope and yarns... they have toenails that seem to get caught up in things like that...

I thought the toys were excellent as well.

My Budgies favourite toy things have to do with taking bark off, reworking string & chewing. Laker used to love his bell & fluffy beaded hanging toy but he no longer looks at it & Rio has shown no interest in store boght toys either. They love all the natural material stuff. They love to chew paper as well.

Laker has a real thing going for all things shiny. Now he only loves any mirror or shiny metal objects. He is trying to educate Rio about this but Rio just scurries around watching Laker talk to the reflected Budgies.

I'd say most birds are individual in their likes.
