Default Why feed your bird sweet potatoes?

I sometimes buy yams when sweet potatoes aren't available and wondered the difference in nutrition. Here is what I found to my surprise. The Vitamin A difference is huge.

wats funny is how many stores miss name them too and they aren't even of the same family!! One day I may even remember where the article is!! lol Garnet Yams are what they call sweet potatos here. And sweet potatos are yams!! What thhe hey huh?

Sounds good....but 377%?? Is that correct or is it supposed to read 37%? I'm confused ....lol.

Don't worry James - I've thought they were the same thing

That reminds me though that I need to make more sweet potato balls - I'll be on the lookout for the right one! I do remember one time that I went to a market and I asked someone if they were the same thing and they said yes (cause I think I only saw something labeled Yam).

In Africa the reddish skin are called sweet potatoes, I have never seen the yellow ones.

It is the percent of the daily nutritional value.
