Hi Folks,

Not sure if this bird if this bird is free or for sale, but hope that someone has space for him.

It is a coworker of a friend of a friend of a friend type thing. The bird is located in NJ.

If so, He was born on November 21, 1992.

He is from Hawaii. He is good as long as

you give him attention, otherwise he could get

nasty sometimes. He does like to talk.

He is an Eclectus Male Parrot. I have all his adoption papers.

Man look at his beak...he looks really rough. I would take him in a heartbeat if I was closer, atleast to get him vetted and healthy. Poor guy.

I will offer to be a part of a "transportation train" to any Parrot Chatter member willing to adopt/vet and rehome.

I could drive so far, someone else could meet me etc.

(The owner (of course) would have to be willing to this arrangement)

I'm in NJ, but I don't think I have the experience yet to handle a larger bird. I'll definitely spread the word around to see if anyone can take him in. I gotta admit, he is adorable.

Poor baby. Hope he finds a good home. His feathers look like they could use a little tending to- same with the beak.

Just remember guys, this bird probably has had a poor diet, little attention and no veterinary care. All adoptees are "high maintenance" even if only for a short time. Also remember the importance of quarantine practices with any new flock member.

Email the person directly---she can answer any questions as I do not know her personally.

Let me know if you decide to open your home to him.

Hopefully whatever damage has been done can be reversed. I see his feathers are in really bad condition and his beak is severely overgrown. He needs a good home who will get him in shape. I wish I could take him; I just cannot add another bird to my home.
