Default Rio & itching

Without any help from Laker, Rio is very resourceful about using his perch to scratch. Will this molt ever end?

Hi - What are you looking at?

Ahhhh that feels good.

A little on top.

That's the spot.

... Like I said - What you looking at?

I just couldn't resist - He looks too sweet with his crest all pushed upwards.

LOL those last two are hilarious Winston does the same, scratches his head on their round rope gym - neither will preen each other!

I like the last ones too - but I thought it would be fun to see them in sequence.

It also demonstrates just how many photos it can take to get a few good ones. I got rid of at least 3 or 4 others -all fuzzy & flash bleached-out.

I actually like the 2nd one the best. It's like he is thinking, "Oh that feels so good."

Yes run away! - if I offer to give him a scratch I get an open Budgie mouth & attitude. or Thanks in part to my son's teasing but also because Rio has always been a tad aggressive - as Budgies go.

I'm thankful he's a wee fellow.
