Default Spider Pig? Nope

Jerry's latest funny:

There's a scene in the Simpson's Movie where Homer Simpson takes his new pet pig upside down and makes him walk on the ceiling (thus making pig footprints on the ceiling), all while singing, "Spider Pig, Spider Pig - does whatever a Spider Pig does!"

Dave and I are Simpsons fans and Dave walks around singing the Spider Pig song all the time. Lately he also takes one of our cats, Josie (aka B), and holds her upside down while singing the Spider Pig song (she loves being manhandled like that, she's like a slinky).

So the other day, we were in the bird room and B walked in - and Jerry promptly said - "SPIDER B!"

Here's the Spider B herself:

Dave the devil child - what to do? thank goodness they aren't learning bad language from the trauma of gaming.

Didn't the 'B' talk start with Bunny the Budgie? So Jerry calls the cat B?

How does the little innocent [the cat] handle the upside down ceiling walking? I miss my Vive so much - even after a year. She was always game for any silliness.

Spider B is fabulous! ~ one set of whiskers are up & one down - same with the ear hair! - or was that taken after she was upside down?

We actually nicknamed Josie "B", or more famously, Bitchy B (Jerry still loves saying that name, but we say it too) - I honestly can't remember where it originated from but we've been calling her B for years (she's 5 this year). She's VERY mischievous and always into something. I never noticed her whiskers or ear fur LOL! Her fur is VERY unusual though - it still feels like super soft kitten fur and it is always in "tufts" no matter how much we brush her - one tuft goes one way and another tuft goes another way. We've never seen a cat with fur like hers. In the pic you can sort of see the tufts around her chest, but usually she looks much more disshevled lol (but always super soft). That's a fairly old picture of B, at least a couple years old. I'll get some video of Spider B in action.

She adores being upside down - you can do anything to her and she's like a wet noodle And she especially adores Dave.

We went to the annual cat show this past weekend and saw that they've now added a House Cat division - next year we want to enter Miss Spider B for fun!

Oh yes enter her - she is a beauty. Love her fur totally. Vive was super soft too - but a short hair. B looks so 'up to something' - even in that photo.

How does she cope with the birds?

B is Jerry's favorite kitty for a reason - because she's bird watching in their room a lot! We wouldn't trust B for a second around the birds - she's TOO interested in them. I believe that Jerry talks about her the most because she's in their room the most when they're in cages. Jerry just adores her though, always talking about her and saying he wants to kiss her. When she meows he quivers and does little beeps and is mesmerized by her - I'd fear that he'd fly to her in a friendly way and she would only think of him as lunch!

Winston loves the dog and doesn't seem to care about the cats at all - whenever the dog comes into the bird room and we start petting the dog, Winston does these loud whistles and gets very excited

That's too funny. I know the song well. My step son has spider man undies and I sing it to him but saying "Spider butt, spider butt....etc".....he laughs and laughs.

I wish Maple or Harley would learn a song. I bet you were rolling around laughing at that one.

That Jerry is really something. I would love for one of my birds to say something.
