Look what I picked up at a local bird shop, can you believe it. I had to look twice when I saw her sitting on the perch, "how much for the unusual Fischer?" I said.

Remember Jim's Ekkie & the yellow feathers on her when she had to take meds? I thought of this when I saw the shape her beak it in. It's pretty long - I wonder how old she/he is.
I wondered if the cute red feathers might go away in the next molt?

She's not a young bird that's for sure, diet related, medical problem and red or orange suffusion have been mentioned in relation to the colouring. I know nothing of the birds breeding history so that doesn't help but I do know she’s outstanding to look at, especially for any lovebird fanatics.
