Some recent pictures especially for Arty, and anybody else who thinks pigeons are beautiful birdies!

These were taken about a week ago. Mollie didn't want to come out of the cage for the photo shoot (too busy making sure Mira didn't try to steal his favorite side of the cage) so no recent photos of him. We didn't leave the cover of the trees either, because the hawks are everywhere.

How beautiful!! I was just telling a friend how awsome pigeons are yesturday, and she looked at me like I had six heads... I cantr wait till I have the room for one of my own!

Mira looks huge! & very plump & healthy.

...yes most people just don't see the pigeon in a very good light. I regularly hear - dirty, disease spreading ... it is disturbing.
We must spread the word.

Mira blends in pretty well with the snow and scenery but I know the Hawk all too well.
