Default Pure White Fantails need sponsorship

There Here!!!!
4 Pure White Indian Fantails & 4 Nuns.
I called Theresa thinking there was suppose to be 10 birds all together and was informed 2 had fallen silent before they were shipped... for these little ones that the lord extends his hand to welcome home a flyer.
Anyways here they are, and they need your sponsorship.

The one in the corner is one of the new Female Nuns that arrived.

They are all in great health, and soooooo pretty.
If you would like to name one of these little pieces of heaven to help care for them by providing sponsorship please let me know.
Arty

I'm in! How do we go about this Arty? Should I send you $ for a year of care/food? How much $ does it come to?
I would love to sponsor one of the white fantails in Boyds name, you can call her Gretta....I'll let you pick which pigeon since you will be able to tell them apart.
Thanks Arty for doing this!

LOL, tell them apart, I have to take a marker and place on the back of the head of the Dun Lahores mate so not to pick him when I re-home.
Extremely hard to tell birds apart when they are the same color or species.
I haven't figured out the fee for sponsorship yet, I am caring for 20 birds again now, cleaning will double, everything will double.
These are Fancy Pigeons and can't be free flown and or released, so a lifetime commitment, I thought these birds were either Racers or Homers.
These birds do not home well, if at all.
I think I am going to re-home some of the Homing Pigeons this spring, I have 3 ferals that will be released and a few homers, I will hang onto my cripples and my little blind Pigeon, the Lahore and her mate, I will hang onto Olives parents in case you want them.
Oh what to do..what to do...LOL
I know I can't keep them all as I will have no room for rescues this spring.
Tell ya what Roxanne, you put up a loft, connect it to your dog run, enclose the top of the dog run and I will bring these fancy pigeons to you.....

I wish I could get that 8X8 barn on craigslist, I would take them! I am working on a plan for the 2 I have for an outdoor exercise area that is attached to the garage or house...I am thinking it might not happen until warmer weather though...if you can wait maybe I can take a couple then?

I have no plans on re-homing any as of yet, waiting for spring.
Good luck with the loft.

Arty, these birds are beautiful. I never saw one before! Simply stunning! Where would one go to purchase one of these beautiful birds?

What species Donna, the White Fantails or the Nuns?
Neither can be free flown, they are both show Pigeons and it would be best to keep them safe within the loft.

One of the Brown & White Pigeons has died, I suspect the bitter cold, it was near 40 below here for several days, I had a very hard time keeping water from freezing.
2 of the 3 white fantails are nesting.
Hope is doing well and is now flying around.
I can barely stand the cold when going out to check on things and change the water, it really amazes me that the birds can tolerate such bitter weather.
I decided to switch back to using the heated dog dish for water.
The new fountain I bought that claimed it was tested not to freeze froze solid each and everyday.
The next thing I saw was the birds taking a bath in the dog dish.
40 below and these birds are bathing...
It was suppose to get to 40 above today, it didn't, but I sure hope the bitter weather is gone.
