Themes for 2008

January: Food Faces. Post a photo of your bird enjoying a delectable dish, perhaps enjoying it a bit too much!

February: Happy Valentine’s Day! Post a photo of your bird sharing the love- with a themed background, or lovin’ on a birdie friend.

March: Special-abled birds. Let’s see those beautiful, perfect babies!

April: Upside down birds. I know some birds that spend more time in this position than right side up!

May: In-flight photos. Birds doing what they do best. If your birds don’t fly, feel free to enter a photo of them in a “big wings” pose.

June: Summer! Share a photo of your bird enjoying those glorious summer days. *Make sure birds are properly restrained if outside!*

July: Bathing Beauties. Because there aren’t many things cuter than a wet bird!

August: Most Unlikely Couple. Friends of different species, birds or otherwise, or perhaps your bird has a favorite toy or other inanimate object as his chosen mate- whatever the case let’s see those photos! *Please strictly supervise any interaction between your birds and potentially dangerous species*

September: Naughty Birds. In our opinion anyway! Another case of birds behaving just as they should: destroying something, or just being plain ornery.

October: Halloween! Birds in the spooky holiday spirit! Perhaps dressed up in a costume, next to (or destroying) a pumpkin, or posing with other decorations.

November: Personal Favorite. Have a favorite photo of your bird? Enter it now!

December: Christmas/Winter. Post a photo of your bird enjoying the holiday season. Posing with decorations, enjoying the snow, opening a present, etc.
