Bud got an early Christmas present a neat little foraging toy to play with, fits brazil nuts and walnuts perfectly! Found it in the dog section, this is a supervision only toy because I'm not sure exactly what it is made of...some kind of chew toy rubber.



I FINALLY caught Bud on camera doing his daily massage that he seems so ashamed to let anyone watch. He moans and groans and scratches all around his head and neck, it is too friggin cute

The foraging toy is really neat! Where did you get it?

Had to laugh when saw Bud with his wing over his head. My male GW does that all the time. I started playing Peek-a-Boo with him when he does it. He wasn't amused! I think that may be his moment, no Mom's allowed.

Looks like Bud is camera shy. Maybe he didn't have a chance to comb his head feathers.

That made me laugh!

Piaui does something similar to that but he brings his wings forward and chews on them When I see him doing that I try to distract him because it's a bad habit for him to get into.

It must be a Greenwing thing. Ariel always sticks her head under her feathers, reaches her foot behind her head to scratch herself, and moans loudly. It's pretty darn funny to watch.

It is so funny! But I just wonder WHY they do it...I can't imagine a flock of GWings all moaning and groaning during grooming time out in the amazon LOL Any ideas sure makes me smile!

We love sweet, sweet, Bud! Ruby says "Step up!"
