Default Time of day to work with your bird..

Have you noticed a time of day when your bird is easier to work with?

I prefer to work with them in the evening before their dinner. It seems to work well for us and half of it has to do with our weekly work schedules.

I'm with Sarah. After work and before dinner. He's good to work with a little while after dinner too. He seems to want the most attention in the evenings.

Bud and the conures prefer to be out with us while we are lounging on our laptops before bedtime. Bud climbs up on daddy's 'puter chair or depending on his mood up in bed with me the little kids just run around tormenting each other!

If I was not at work from 6:30 to 5, I might have data to share -- they love me when I am home!

I'm home all day so eve is out all day, I found that the down time between 12-4 works well. My theory is that is the wild he would naturally be hanging out and relaxing during part of this time and not foraging like in the morning or early evening before roost time. But specificially between 2-4, because 12-2 is nap time.

Ok, I need to make a complete retraction here. The wounds I have are from early morning encounters.
As the stepups and handson encounters of our relationship have increased so have the dynamics of our encounters.
She's definatly NOT a morning bird. She's much better after 2 or 3 with a lot of direct interact.
