Thought I'd post a couple pictures of our cages, we used to have a "bird room" but no more at least they still have their lighting! I took these right after we moved about 3 weeks ago, so our lights were not hung yet.

And Chico's cage...this is my OW who was STOLEN (along with this cage) and never recovered. Someday I hope all the posting I've done will pay off and he will be returned.

But, if I may, consider changing the chain on top of Bud's cage. Chains are good for hanging things down (like toys from the ceiling) but they should not be used horizontally (as perches) because the bird could get a claw stuck in one of the links and break a toe or even the leg trying to dislodge it. Try using a thick untreated sisal rope or a natural tree branch instead (just make sure it's not poisonous wood and bake it in the oven for 15 minutes at 450 degrees to kill any parasite, fungus, etc).
