Default Barley is a hit!

Yesterday I cooked up a batch of barley, added a fresh jalapeno pepper to it, and a little fresh Kale. The fids loitered a long time at their bowls. Today I cooked a batch of Goldenfeast Asian Medley and added the leftover barley, and frozen veggies, fresh kale, red pepper flake, and red palm oil. They ate for a very long time, and all was quiet!

yeah, they munched away. Afa usually has a few bites and goes back to her beads. But she hung out at the bowl a good 10 minutes. If one of them doesnt like what I serve, they have their own sound that says "umm excuse me but..uh yeah..I didnt order this, please take it back and get me walnuts!" But not the past 2 days. Just the sound of beaks hitting the bowls. I love it when they eat!

You know you made something good when all the racket stops and there's nothing but silence and the tapping of beak on bowls.

Is it at stores? With the loose grains?

Here is a question. Califlower is OK for them, right?

My guys LOVE Cauliflower both raw and slighty cooked. I bought barley in a bag, less than $1. It was in the section where the rice and soup beans are.
