well, Amazons are full of personality. I know my guys keep me on my toes with their antics....

I know we have a bunch of amazon owners here, so lets here some stories. The latest adventure, the funiest thing your zon has done... etc... whatever! I wanna here about Zons.... and pics are welcome too!!!

Well ok Josh. My Amazon is my shadow. I might as well take him and glue him to my shoulder, leg, foot, even my ass, you name it, he's on it. I do not in any way shape or form have an independent Amazon. It's either that or he's madly in love with me.

A friend of mine, who is also an Amazon owner, calls my boy a panzie, a mama's boy, and insists that my bird wears a skirt.

Now I do try to occupy him with many things such as chew toys. But the minute I leave the room, you can bet he's on my ass. I came out of the bathroom last night, and there he was sitting by the door waiting for me to come out.

Wherever I am, my Amazon is there. He sits on the floor with me while I clean the bottom of his play stand. He will even sit on the dust buster while I vacuum up crumbs. I think he likes the vibration.

And before I get carried away here, I will end on that note.

The only Amazon I know lives at a hardware store here in town. His name is Chainsaw (cute huh?) and he will tell you he can't talk! lololol

Poe, Eve's BFA friend in over for the week visiting, and when ever he wants to go somewhere he says step up, which is funny because he has always been full flighted and in no way needs my help to go anywhere. Anyway he kept saying step up with a question like tone, and than I said no step ups, and he said step up in a commanding tone instead, I guess he figured he could bully me into it. I of course said no step ups, and what did the little guy say? He said Ok and stopped asking!

HAH! Kimba that was cute! That really do have some personalities.

Well its funny (IMO) to see a rounded, short-legged amazon try to steal a toy from my U2s beak. Bokka and Pua (Bokka U2, Pua RLA) DO NOT GET ALONG. If 'i'm scritching Bokka while he is on his cage, Pua, will climb down her cage, cross doors or the carpet, and then climb to the top of Bokka's cage and then sneakily run up to him and pull his toy away or try to!!! I should say that Pua is the one who doesnt get along with Bokka, especially if he is on a cage and getting loving from me. And he is on my bwed getitng it, Pua gives him an evil eye

Neither birds have fought. But boy, Bokka must have a lot of patience for her when I am around! LOL

Pua is also very playful. I can tickle he rbelly, and she'd roll over and snap (gently) at me and nibble on my fingers, playing with her toes (this usually last 5-10seconds) and she'll run over to my head and preen my hair (LOVE IT!).
