well, artemis has been acting just fine and being his normal happy self. i just gave him a look over and saw that he has a pin feather coming in where his bald spot is. i have a feeling he rubbed off the feathers on his toy. my husband said he noticed artemis rubbing on his toy in the exact spot that is bald. i think i might switch out that toy. but i am glad that it's looking to be that's the only cause. i was really worried there for a little bit!

So glad to hear it is likely as simple as a toy. We all get so worried when things change with our birds, but glad you quickly addressed the concern when noticed. Great birdie mom!
