Laura's owner passed away, she is a yellow scaley breasted lorikeet.
Laura is a very loud parrot, her screech can hurt the ears, she loves to wrestle with my hand and play ball, when she becomes aggressive blood is sure to follow, but by all means, she is wonderful.

Laura is actually very small, she is just alittle larger than a Quaker, but not by much.

She's so cute! She does look very fiesty- I can practically hear her screech through the picture!

Laura is a very aggresive Lorikeet, and messy as most nectur birds are.
She can be very mean at times and when she gets angry, she rips things apart in her cage and I mean she shreds things up, I would ever place my hand near her if she is upset.
She will climb to the top of her cage, then run down and dive into her bath water, she is by far the most exciting little bird to watch bathe, I mean she really gets into it......and I mean a mess, I have to wipe down everything when she is done...LOL
She is also very easily sexually stimulated, so I have to be very careful when we play, Laura won't go to my wife, she will attack her if given the chance.
She will sneak up on her ball and attack it flipping over and over, then let it go and stand just like a cat will when playing ready for the next attack...
And she is fast, I mean fast fast, she has nailed me several times and most of the time I don't feel the pain or see the blood until she is running away..LOL

Arty, lorikeets are wild here and all over the place. They are feisty by nature and fun to watch in the trees!
