Default Pet Pocket Bird Carrier

I was just given one from another bird owner [Tiel owner] who couldn't get her bird even near it, let alone inside.
Pet Pocket Bird Carrier - Bird Carriers - Pet Carriers

My guys are wondering who's that for. My friend with the Sennie didn't want it because she's sure Percey would eat the mesh in a blink. I had thought it might suit a shorter tailed bird. There is no place for food or water tho.

Right now its too cold to test it out outside. Come the spring i'll see if it works. YOu kind of look weird wearing it.

That is pretty neat looking. I know Parsley would like it but I'm not sure about the budgies. Let us know how your guys like it when you give it a try.

I've always thought about getting one of those but haven't yet - I'll be interested to hear if your boys like it!

I think thats really cool... I use something similar... Its for bigger guys, but the bar spacing is ok for budgies too.... It's comforrtable and the fids looove to go for hikes in the sun...

This is the one I have:

Flying South Adventure Pack Travel Bird Carrier: WindyCityParrot.com, Bird Cages, Aviaries, Parrot Supplies, Parrot Food

Yes i would think the metal bars make sense for any bird bigger or stronger in the beak than a Budgie.

I guess i could clip a bowl to the perch for treats.- or a millet inside. I guess for an outing they wouldn't need water[?].

I've always wanted to take the guys out.

Do you carry it as a satchel or as a backpack or frontpack?

Usually as a backpack... The top part is also a duffle bag, that can snap off for more sun exposure..

I think Sleepy would love something like that. He is the only budgie that likes finding dark places to sleep.

I've been thinking about getting something like this for Ollie (a larger version) since she hates her harness. Hope Laker and Rio enjoy it!

You could some grapes or pieces of apple in it instead of water.
