Default Toys I've Created

Have been meaning to post these for awhile. Here are some pics of a few of my creations. Some of these are after they'd been played with, I'm sure you can tell which ones. No comments necessary, just sharing them to share ideas. I'd love for anybody interested to also post some pics of some toys you've made in their own thread. Toys are so expensive, and it's much more fun to make them anyways! I run out of ideas quickly though, so it'd be great to share ideas!

I have hundreds more toys, just no pictures of them. I need to have a toy making day soon, so I'll get more pictures when I get out all the toy tubs.

Camille those are great! I have never made my own toys as I don't believe I have a crafty bone in my body. But that's it! I'm going for it! Do you just order a bunch of parts and then put something together? Can anyone suggest on how I could get started? I've looked at toy parts and they scare me! I don't know where to begin.

Hate to burst your bubble, but the hanger was just to hold the toys so I could take a picture. Not actually part of the toy!

I go through sites and save pictures of the toys I like to a folder on my computer. On toy making day I bring them up and use them for ideas.

I think they're super easy to make! The only tools you need for sure are scissors, a lighter (to keep the ends of the rope from fraying), pliers if you're working with O-rings...that's all I use! That and lots and lots of toy parts!

They're really not that hard to make, and it's fun! Get some Paulie rope, some parts, and just start stringing! A single strand of toy parts is what I started off with. You'll get more creative as you go along!

This is a great site with just about anything you'd ever need to make a toy: Birdsnest Specialty bird toy parts toys The parts are along the right side.

Camille, I swear I was on that site yesterday. I actually started ordering parts. When I got to picking out rope, chains, all that stuff, I was like, "What am I doing?" I didn't know what to do! So I ordered toys.

But I'm going for it now. And I will take a picture when I'm done because you guys will have one Hell of a laugh.
