Olive at her new home

Here is my darling Olive settling in to her new surroundings, she is doing well.
The fluffy pic of her looks kind of like a kiwi bird! You can see her playing around with her peacock feather and laying in her bed (I put a nice soft t-shirt in there for her). Right now she is on top of her carpeted house, she got up there all by herself!
I am having a great time getting to know her, I can't wait for my husband to get home! Then I can get some pics holding her!

she played around in her water and has been "mouthing" seed, I think I only saw 2 actually get eaten. She is begging for food, I keep offering her seed and will hand feed her around 8:00 like Arty told me. I see where all the flapping comes in now, she sure is begging!
She has a great personality, she seems pretty comfortable here already.
-funny, I just glanced over at her(she is on the loveseat) and she is working on some seed again, if I am interacting with her, she is all peeps and flaps!!! FEED ME!!!!

Definately in wean, everything looks great Roxanne.
Be sure to get the syringe past the vents located within the beak.
I'm sitting here typing and Roxanne calls...

Olive isn't cooperating with the feedings.
As I said to Roxy, she is in wean, if things don't go well I will go to her shop and feed Olive and show her how I do the feedings.
Olive is in a new enviroment and is used to me feeding her, so I am sure there is a little resistence.
Karen has made a ICON for you Roxanne, Karen and I hope you except this small token of appreciation for all you do for the bird of Peace.

Thank you Arty, the Icon is beautiful and greatly appreciated! I wondered how to get one

As far as feeding her, I am thinking it may be best for me to attempt it again in the morning instead of tonight, but I will offer a small bowl of formula.
My husband really likes her and I am totally in love. I just hope she eats soon! Pray everyone!
