OK....it is official...I own the silliest macaw on the planet....Harley (and Maple) spent the weekend with "Grand Dad" (my father in law)...and ever since he has been talking with a Scottish accent!!! (my in laws are Scottish)......

LOL it's fading fast....at first it was everything...now he's only doing it with a few words. It is so funny. I know he really loved talking to my FIL...Maple likes him a lot too. So he probably was just trying to talk his language or something hehe. I am sure it won't last too much longer...sadly. He is a cute silly boy! He likes to remind you of that too.... "Harley's a silly good boy!" is a common phrase now too hehe.

Sounds like Granddad likes the birds too - must have really been chatting with them. Or was he trying to drive you crazy with the gift of the 'accent'.

LOL I wouldn't put it past him, but he really does love the fids. He even loves Maple when she tries to bite him. They breed Scotties and Westies, so he understands our passion. He feels the same way about his pups! He is wonderful with them....loves to chatter and play with them...and SPOILS THEM ROTTEN!!!
