Default my new baby ringneck

Today my mom and I went to the pet shop to get bird food and to look at this macaw. I looked at the baby birds, fell in love with this baby ring neck. I took out my wallet and bought this little 8 week old green ring neck. I don't know what it is so if it is a boy I will name it Troy and if it is a girl I will name it Tessie. This is in place of the cockatoo, my mom still said no. Pictures later.

Congratulations! Can't wait to see him/her. Are you having him DNA'd or alternating names until a ring comes in

DNA sexing is too expensive, after weaning s/he will be going to the vet for surgical sexing.

As to housing, not sure at this point. If they get along s/he will join the pet suns, if they can't get along then own cage and aviary. Sharing during the day will the other IRN is not an option as they too nasty to consider.
