Wow! So nice to see familiar and new names

Hi Everybody and everybirdy!

This is my first visit to the site even though I signed up as soon as I heard about it. I'm really very happy to see many of my favorite people from another site and to meet new folks as well. I'll have more time to check in over the next few days and I'm looking forward to learning lots and sharing in some good bird stories and discussions.

Oh yeah, for those who don't know me, I currently have one female pearl cockatiel named Buster. I have studied parrots for about 30 years but haven't had a companion bird for the last 18 years or so. Buster was a rescue and she has really re-started my interest in parrots. I hope to acquire an "Australian community" over the next several years of mixed grass parakeet species. 'Tiels are and always will be my favorite birds, they are just so sweet.
