Kita was looking so serene sitting on her little eggs that I thought I would take a pic. This is what we ended up with when the big bad mean camera invaded! Serene look gone…welcome puffy head mad hen!



It’s taken well over a year for Kita to think she could do something with this boing other than beat it up. It was just a short time ago she learned how to get on it!! We are so proud of her courage. I had to take these pics with the play enclosure door closed, because every time I went to make a move to open the door, she was planning to get off her boing to come visit.

I wish she did, we have 3 now! I screwed up some where, 'tis NOT the season for eggs in these parts!

LOL, I have no doubt Kita wouldn't mind giving it a taste test either but I don't allow her to play on the cage and she can't reach it from the inside

She's gorgeous! Do Kady and Kita play together in the play enclosure, or do they not get along that well?

Kady has his own play enclosure identical to Kita's. They haven't played together to date and really show no interest in each other. The closest I have had them is Kita playing on the floor and Kady sitting on my knee or shoulder while I'm sitting on the floor. Kady does throw the ball for Kita to fetch and then giggles!
