Default The Dove & Pigeon Forum

The Dove & Pigeon Forum
A very sincere Thank You to everyone that has contributed to the Dove & Pigeon forum.
The forum is growing, I am very impressed with the forums success, this could never have happened without the help from the ParrotChatter members and there kindness towards the bird of peace.
The Dove & Pigeon forum is holding a close second place on the species listing here on ParrotChatter, this says a lot about the bird of peace.
Many times other members have reached out to help others concerning this wonderful bird when I was not here to help, for this I am very grateful.
The bird of Peace, better known as the Pigeon aka the Dove aka The Rock Dove thanks you for helping them as they struggle to regain there dignity.
As the forum coordinator I wish to tell all of you “I couldn’t do this alone”, “I, They need your continued support and help”.
I want all of you to know, I will always strive to provide information to help you when and if a bird of peace calls upon you for help, I strive to post information concerning these wonderful birds.
There world is full of struggles, as with all wildlife, everyday life is a struggle, everyday brings hardships, finding food and clean water to make it through each day becomes harder and harder.
The Pigeon is Mankind’s number one PEST, they are shunned, they are mass poisoned, they are deliberately starved to control there numbers; they are exploited by the Racing Pigeon world.
Never in the history of mankind has there been any other animal that has saved so many human lives as that of the bird of peace, the Pigeon.
This bird and there unique homing abilities has saved many human lives and yet today they are still flying next to mankind in there struggle to help us "help others".
These wonderful birds are fighting along side our troops in Iraq as they have done so in many wars as we strive to help others find freedom.
These majestic birds will continue to help mankind in many years to come, all they ask in return is for a little respect, and maybe a handful of seed to help them make it through yet another day.
I wish to thank all of you for your continued support here in the bird of peace forum, I wish to thank the owner of ParrotChatter (Winged Victory-Gary) and all the Admins and Moderators for giving these birds there own forum and helping them.
I am but one, I simply can not help these birds alone, I need you and your continued support, “they need you, badly”.
The Bird of Peace wishes to thank each and every one of you, they pray you continue to help them by continuing to help there forum grow.
They wish you PEACE each and everyday but more so during the holidays when we all get together to give thanks for our lives.
They ask you to include them in your prayers as they struggle to live the life given to them.
They wish all of you to know, they will always be here by your side as they have been since the beginning of time.
The Dove & Pigeon Forum here on ParrotChatter Thanks you, all of you, for your continued support.
Peace
Arty Tovar aka BrokenWing & The Bird of Peace, better known as "The Pigeon".

Arty, I thank YOU! I will never look at the dove/pigeon with the same eyes I had a year ago. Neither will anyone I have talked to about them. You have made us aware and have taught us all so much about the bird of peace, so we in turn can teach.

I look forward to seeing pictures of your babies and get so excited when our members look forward to a new addition to their home. Those babies and their new guardians also help to teach the next person, and so on.

You have really made a difference!

I've learned so much about my Mollie from you Arty, and I'll be forever in your debt for sending me my handsome Mira. Although pigeons were a love for me before I met you, it has only flourished since. The amount I've learned is incredible. Thank you!

Arty, Arty! Such a wonderful man filled with so much compassion for the Bird of Peace! I commend you for all you have done and for what you continue to do. I have to admit I never really paid attention to the pigeons before my Abi appeared. Of course if I happened upon them during my life and had food to feed them I sure did! I know I always felt sorry for them. Especially when traveling to NYC and seeing so many in clusters and they were all hungry and begging for food! I am so glad I found you here along with all the many other compassionate people. So many of you have helped me with Abi and I sincerely thank you all. We have to keep spreading the word about these wonderful birds! Arty, I am here to stay....I have truly enjoyed my time here so far and will continue to do so!

You all are wonderful, trully you are.
This thread was started to thank all of you, you folks really have no idea how much you have helped the bird of peace.
~J~ recently reached out to help a Pigeon, Leigh admires the Bird of peace that continues to visit her each and everyday, Donna has opened her heart to her new little visitor Abi,
Camille, There is not enough or correct words to express my feelings for this member.
Jodee, has reached out to help her injured Pigeon and yet today she still cares for her little friend.
Deb has went out of her kind caring ways to help the bird of peace.
Susan, I am beside myself when it comes to Susan, I pray oneday she finds the strength to open her heart and allow another bird of peace to enter, In my eyes Susan is and always will be the ultimate care giver to the bird of peace, I don't mean to be selffish or dig up bones, But I lost 2 when Susan lost Gem, I lost them both.
Josh stops in as often as he can, he means so very much to me.
Deb76 has posted more often, I am extremely greatful and am so happy she contributes more here on ParrotChatter.
BigBlues, Karen, Gary, Oregon, NATE..there are simply way to many to mention, all whom have ventured into the Dove & Pigeon forum to contribute and reach out to help others.
When a rescue come accross my desk or the phone rings, I reccomend that person come and join us here on ParrotChatter, not because I am here, but because all of you are here.
You all shine so very very brightly in my eyes, you all are such kind caring wonderful people that will go out of your way (take risks) when offering advise to help others.
Recently Barbra and Jeanne, from Second Chance Bird Rescue has joined ParrotChatter, my world stood still on that day.
The real HERO's here are those that see a bird of peace and stop to help, those members that have ventured into the Dove & Pigeon forum to help others, those that have changed the way they look unto these majestic birds and see there true colors, see there true beauty.
No they can't do tricks, No they can't talk to us, but they can show us there unconditional love, they can comfort us, they can offer us a sense of PEACE, SOLACE, SERENITY, things that seem to elude us, but are so vital to our everyday lives as humans.
My heart is just so in size, all of you, Please don't be offended if I haven't mentioned your name, there are simply to many to mention....all of you are here...within my heart...but more importently...you are within (there heart)...the bird of peace.
They are out there, and they thank you, for opening your hearts and eyes to there true beauty, they are not the dirty filthy flying rats most have come to see them as.
All of you have helped to change that impression, THEY THANK YOU!
