Looks like he's grown in a few more feathers! looking good Arty!
He isn't the most personable towards humans, is he? I thought he would be happier with his own kind, I hope he is.
You are very nice for taking the time to post this for me.

He's fitting in, when he begins to fly he will have more freedom, for now he spends his time running around, he likes to lay in the straw, there's an area where I sit the bail and he enjoys that spot the most.
At night when I go out and check on things he is always in the same spot, in the pile of straw.

I just want to tell everyone that I can't get Boyd out of my head so I asked Arty if I could have him back, he said yes, so he will soon be with me & Olive...I feel great about it!
He is the reason I have Olive, the reason I have learned so many new things about pigeons. A whole new appreciation for pigeons and book of my life has been opened because of him. I know he is a grump but he really is loveable anyway. I can't wait!

Well Congrats Roxanne! This is very exciting news! I hope Boyd and Olive strike up a friendship!

I hope so Camille, if Olive proves to be a girl it should be a nice friendship. I have a hunch she is a she but as you say, you never know! If she is a he we will still work it out. I just miss that little crabapple.

Hopefully this weekend I can bring Boyd to you, or maybe you can come here and bring Olive and meet the wife, either or...Boyd will be returned to you.
I admire your love towards animals, adopting a bird of peace, now wanting your Boyd back, you shine....
I am sure Boyd will be very happy to be back with you.
He has claimed his own nesting box, his feathers are close to being all grown back in, so be prepared for a flying Boyd...
Someone has mutilated this birds wings, even the tail feathers were chopped off, possibly for dog training, Boyd more than likely never knew (flying) so it maybe best to allow him to fly for awhile.
