Help With Uploading Pictures?

I have been using my Dad's camera to take pictures. Today I tried to upload pictures of Winkie & it said the upload was successful, but no pictures are showing up in my gallery.

Does anyone know what's going on?

This has happened to me several times. It's why I use photobucket, no offense PC! Try uploading fewer pictures at a time.

I tried 1st with 1 picture & then 2, no dice. Sigh.

Hmmm...I don't know what to tell you. I don't think most people have troubles, so I don't know what could be causing it for us. Have you thought about using something like photobucket or webshots, etc? They're free, and make it really simple to upload and post pics here.

Leah, I notice that you have been successful in the past uploading pictures. I wonder if something has changed? You mentioned using your Dad's camera, is this a different camera than you used before? Could there be anything different in the settings? Are the pics in JPEG format? (I say this because sometimes I mess up and try to upload a TIFF file by mistake) What size are the photos you're trying to upload? Are you sure they are being uploaded to the right gallery? When I upload a pic, if it is successful, the browser immediately takes me to that photo in the gallery. Is it taking you to the gallery but no photo appears? Lots of questions, I know, but just trying to come up with something that might help.

Ok, it's definitely not Dad's camera that's the problem. I just uploaded another rose picture & it came thru fine. I will try doing some things differently & see how it does. Thanks for all the help.
