Today as I was playing with Lucy, I was noticing all the feathers who has growing in. I look at pictures of when I first got her and now and think "Wow, what a difference" is how many feathers she has grown. However, I'm even more amazed by her blooming personality.

She demands you come over and give ehr kissed thorugh the cage bars by sticking as of her beak through as she can. She loves attention and will give you the biggest, sweetest looking eyes you will ever see. She has a new thing for wanting to put her face right up against my cheek. This made me cry (for the fact that I still can't believe she was given to me) and because she's just so sweet and absolutly perfect. Lucy is such a joy to have and I can't help but brag (sorry!). She likes to be with me all the time, though isn't demanding. She loves to play but isn't destructive. She's content with you just hand feeding her and talking with her. Lucy loves to just sit on your chest and watch the football game or sit on your sholder while you're on the computer. I cannot chare how happy I am about this. She was so shy and bored looking when we first got her. But now, she's best buds with busy birdie Echo-Bella and getting there [slowly] with Harley. As far as I'm concerned, life could not get any better, lol!

That's wonderful Dom! Sounds like she's just about as perfect as possible! I'd love to see some pics of her and Echo together, I love seeing parrots of different species interacting happily. And while you're at it, some pics of Harley would be good too!

She is so beautiful, and she sounds like she's one happy little girl. I'm so glad she's coming along nicely and that her feathers are growing in so beautifully. I know it's all because she has someone who loves her dearly.

That is great! It's always so nice when a troubled bird finds a wonderful home and everything gets turned around. She sure is showing signs of happiness and comfort. You are obviously providing her with all she needs and more....not to mention a loving home. Congratulations!

It is always heart warming when things turn for the better, you are doing a great job in providing the love your little friend demands and deserves.
Keep up your kind ways and soon enough all the feathers will be grown back in.

Thank you Arty! She's getting better and better everyday. Birds are such amazing creatures and I am in awe of mine everyday. The love they give me reminds me of how thankful we shoudl be for having the privleage to have them in our lives
