Smile Way to quiet in the Ring's corner

My goodness it's very quiet here in the ringneck's group. I wonder where everyone is,LOL! Blondie and Dagwood are doing great! They are getting so much more comfortable around me and other members of my family. Neither one is talking yet, but I'm not in to much of a hurry for them to talk,LOL! Since my little GC conure talks enough for everybody,LOL! I have been on the toy making express and I'm still working on projects, but it sure is fun to have B&D fly down from their swing and join Mommy in making the toys. I just love these two little monkey's, they are such a hoot and are getting more and more active every day.

Oodles of Hug's

I didn't realize you had a conure as well! Is it just those 3, or do you have more? Guess I need to pay more attention...

They sound so adorable! I have to put Ollie in her cage when I'm making toys...she'll fly over and take off with the toy parts I'm about to use. I can't get anything done with her around!

Kirby also loves to help make toys. He's great at getting all the lids off the Tupperware containers for me! (which is bad when it's the 1 that has the thousands of pony beads in it - takes a long time to pick all those up!) Kirby isn't a big talker. Says a few words and imitates a few sounds. But he's very cuddly and loves to hang out with us. I forget - how old are Blondie and Dagwood?

My ringies are all wild and live outside in an aviary. Good to have helpful birds.

Hi There Judy,
I forgot there was a ringneck thread !! I got some pony beads for Win ,he loves to just play with them and throw them around, button's too.
Have you any good ideas for beads. He seems to break all the strings I put them on, I spend ages picking them all up.
Your two sound delightful

Smile Re: Way to quiet in the Ring's corner

I have a total of four birdies, my two Alexandrines, my GC Conure and my sweet baby Lutino Cockatiel. These guys are just the best!!! I love them all so very much! Now, let's talk about the beads... I am the bead queen, , I put beads on everything . I use the poly rope or the surpeem cotton rope, since those are both birdie safe, I also put beads on stainless steel wire when making a swing or something like that. I put beads on fabric like fleece and tie knots so they won't come off, I put beads every where . I even put beads inside those wiffle balls for foot toys and I use a lot of vegetable tanned leather too! I'm learning all kinds of fun things to make, and the best part is having all of my little helpers helping out .
