Default Curly feathered doves

Hi Arty! It's Jessalyn Eaton here. I am new at this computer stuff so I am not sure I am going to get this to you but here goes! lol I got your reply and I also love doves and pigeons. They are really the same to me and no less beautiful than my silly macaw. A while back I was working at the Texas wildlife rehabilitation center and a lady came in with the two doves. She said she and her daughter were sitting in the yard and they landed in her lap! so she brought them to us but as we can't take domesticated animals she was referred to a vet. I was afraid he might put them to sleep so I took them home. I had a large cage already and they lived happily for over a year. One day I found one dead and then the other. They were so beautiful and their names were Lonesome and Junior. I would really like to have some more. Do you breed them?

Sorry to hear your Doves passed away.
I used to breed Doves many years ago.
I ended up with way to many birds so I gave that up quickly.
You can see some pictures of my Pied Doves here on my webshots.

You can also see a baby Pigeon grow day by day at this link, I hand fed and tamed this Pigeon and shipped him down to a friend of mine in Tennessee.

Hi there! It worked! Thanks so much for the photo treat! Your birds are simply lovely and so well cared for! Andy is a sweetie too! I have never seen a collared pigeon. He is something else!

Thanks so much!
