Default Brought my blind Pigeon in the house

But he didn't like it, I gave him a nice bath and set up a nice cage for him, but he just sat there, he wouldn't even use the t-shirt I offered for a bed.
I watched him for 2 days and knew he wasn't pleased, Soooo back out to the loft he went.
Mamma Lahore and her mate are definately sitting on eggs, as well is another mated pair.
The American Fantail is doing great so far.
The Feral I rescued not long ago that was shot 2 times is finally mating up.
The loft is ready for winter, I dug out the heated water fountain, am alittle worried about the blind Pigeon finding the water as the fountain is very different then the other water fountain I use in the summer time.
The straw should help my special birds that can no longer fly keep warm.
Take Care
Arty

arty, i think you need to come visit hollywild in the spring. we have huge flocks of pigeons and doves.in fact this past summer i had one that stayed close to the admissions building, i would put out some extra bird food for it. by what i was told alot of the pigeons that stick around the park are racing or messanger ones. we have a hot spot on the power lines and if they unfortanatly get to close they get shocked and die(it is just a very small section). if we find one on the ground then if it has a band we are to give the # to the office so they can call that # in.

I will take some photos when I have a chance.
Wish I did have time to get away and visit Hollywild.
I am wondering how HollyWild is controling the Pigeon & Dove numbers, there must be some form of control or there numbers will increase ten fold in no time at all.
I have shown the water fountain to my little blind baby, hard to show a blind bird something...if ya know what I mean ...LOL
I will keep a close eye on him.
Take Care everyone, thanks for all the kind replies.
