Hi Everyone,

I have two issues and a question.

The first issue is Birdbird not staying off my shoulder when I don't want her there. The only way she'll stay off my shoulder is if she is in her cage. I don't know what to do. She is driving me crazy. If she's in her cage she chirps non-stop until I take her out because I can't stand it for another second. I'd like to let her perch on her basket or on top of her cage but she won't have that. She'll fly and come find me wherever I am and will land on my shoulder. How can I stop this madness? Keep in mind that this has nothing to do with the second issue below, she has don't this way before Dozy came along.

The second issue is jealousy. I think Birdbird may be extremely jealous of Dozy. Do birds get jealous? If so any suggestion on how to help with this?

We've had Birdbird (cockatiel) for 4 years and recently we got Dozy (African Grey) who is now 5 months old. Dozy was very well socialized and is used to other species of birds. Is it possible for different species/sizes of birds (African Grey and a cockatiel) to coexist? I don't mean live in the same cage. I mean to be able to perch together in harmony, or eat from the same bowl, etc., etc.? How do people with multiple birds species so this?

I have to have budgie and sun on different shoulders. They are extremely jealous and Peanut knows he may not harm the budgie.

Im having shoulder issues with Afa also. She has to be ON me and wont sit on the perch anymore. She also insist upon getting on my head. She screams and rips my hair out when I take her off. Its getting unbearable.

Hmmm. So I'm not alone...
