Default Stupid Question!

[font="Book Antiqua"][color="Blue"]: ok, here's the stupid question of the day! When coloring wood pieces, it's ok to use the gel food coloring??? Is is ok to put in a tablespoon of white vinegar, like you would when coloring easter eggs??? I feel like such a goober!!!

Judy, I use Vita Critter which is mixed with Alcohol and the pieces dry very quick. You can check it out here:

Vitacritter - Exquisite Colourant Toy Color Concentrates

I have no idea if the easter egg food coloring is safe.

Judy, I too use Vitacritter ^ works the best for dying wood and I don't have to worry about whats in it and if its safe or not.

I buy refills for my monster toys from grasshopper. Grasshoppers Parrot Toys - Quality 100% Stainless Steel Parrot Toys, Monster Toys and Beast Parrot Toys! Mike uses Vitacritter and they are absolutely vibrant.

I have "heard" that we are not to use food coloring, but I don't remember why and I don't have any articles.... sorry. I just decided not to worry about it long ago and used natural wood, or bought from reputable companies. I just chimed in here because of the mention of vitacritter and I think it's fantastic.
