It's been a much needed day off for me today and the first thing I did - after sleeping in of course! - was get the birds out for some morning fun. And I dug out the camera to try to get some better closeups of them all, and here's what I got:

And finally I got my home internet hooked up today, we're all singing to the radio at the moment, and it's been a perfect day so far! About to head out for a walk with my dog in a minute - it's the most gorgeous day outside (you can probably tell that from the pics above!)

Great photos - love them all but really love Winston's. Finally we can see clearly his big crest. Those are mammoth spikes!

I sure hope that perfect weather is heading this way! We had our Thanksgiving Weekend this past weekend & every once in a while we'd say "I'm sweating! - it can't be! This is October - this is thanksgiving - we should be wearing sweaters & the leaves should be all colourful." It was 16C today but really with all the humidity - we are trying not to complain as it has been the driest summer on record - it feels like the 28C of the weekend.

It was 89 in Jersey yesterday!
