Default Pairs that can be housed next to each other

Hi,
I have 2 pairs of pionus living next door to each other blue headed and bronze wings, the one pair had chicks this year the other didn’t. The pair that didn’t were the ones expected to rear chicks no problem. This got me thinking would they object to being in an aviary next to one of there own kind? I have 2 pairs of Eclectus next to each other, they’re ok with it but they can be housed in a colony so I guess that makes the difference. Do you think I should split the pionus up? I have read somewhere that you shouldn’t house Galahs next to each other and was wondering if it's the same for Pionus, they don't seem bothered with their neighbors but.....
What do you guys think?
Thanks

My suns cant be next to each other because they spend too much time interfering with and trying to kill the neighbors. I have solid sheet metal between the cages. The ringies and budgies are quite fine in a colony or next to each other without problems.

I think you will be fine if you put a sheet of metal or other safe material (I would not use plywood) between their flights (that they can't see the other Pionus thru - as Angie suggested).

Thanks you guys, I'm will put a sheet of metal up, if I do it now they can get used to it before breeding time next year. Thanks for the suggestion, it's a great help.
