I'm in the office here, Pita is next to me on his playstand. He has 2 huge bowls on it, one filled with water, and one filled with this nut, fruit, thing mixture that he loves. For the last 15 minutes he has been coming down to bottom, getting off his boing, looking around at whats on the towel, picking something, climbing back up on his tower and eating as happy as can be.

WHY???? It's the same food down there that is is in his bowl, he's the one who throws it down there.

Very true. I've read that if given the chance they'll prefer to forage over eating from their food bowls and taking the easy way out.

I think I have read that somewhere, I believe it too!!! Seymour loves throwing his seed all over the floor. Then he climbs down and scouts out his favorites and munches on them.

i was shown a round long article with holes in it and was told you will it with all the birds goodies and then let them forage in the holes..........

I call it dumpster diving.
