Thumbs down Baby Bird Let-down *sigh*

He was hopefully due to come home this weekend...but of course, I should have realised naming him Data would mean he'd develop just as slowly as the actual Data from star Trek. >_<!! God...the little bugger has got to be ... I saw him at 6 weeks....it's been 4 weeks since then this friday....it'll take him until he's like 12.5 weeks to haul up off his feathered tushy to come home with me. What really worries me though is my brother has been desperate for his own pet and if he gets ahold of Data he might rename him Kirk because he's a lover of the original series and I'm not and then I'll have to beat him to death because everyone knows The Next Generation is so much better....

I just wish time would hurry itself up I want my Data to come home. Hmph.

I actually cleaned my room and everything thinking it'd be this weekend.

The only thing in my room that isn't clean is a work desk and the bottom of Jean's cage

I can imagine the time is moving slow. Hang in there, a couple more weeks and then you'll have Data for years to come! Do you have any pictures of him?

No :: pouts:: I would have been posting them like crazy if I did, my phone got demolished and I can't get a new one until november. I can however, show you kinda what he looks like. He's an extremely heavy pied. He's entirely yellow, save one black spot he has on his wing.

that's what he looks like except that bird has no spot. And his eyes are black.

He'll come home when he's ready - but I'm sure waiting is NO FUN! Can't wait to see pics when he's home.

I love the name Data

More prepared? *Quirks eyebrow* The cage isn't here, it's at my mom''s. Right now it's missing a feed dish and a perch for the middle of the cage which mom has to pick up. ....I'm still trying to get hired for that second job so lots of garbage going on right now -.-() With my phone broken, someone left me a voice mail today and I can't hear it so I don't know if my job called me back and left me a message asking for an interview. ;_;
