I took his Happy Hut out of his cage tonight after I put him to bed......he was getting a bit to Happy with it. I talked to the ladies at TGF tuesday, and they suggested I take it out.

We talked about how it's so much harder on us to do this than it is on the bird, who may not even notice it's gone....LOL

I re-arranged all his toys, and gave it a good cleaning.

I'm sure he'll get over it, and will soon find another "ladie" to give his love to in his cage....*sigh*.....boys

LOL I know EXACTLY how you feel Gayla, with two horny little boys of my own!! I've found that taking away certain toys doesn't really matter cause they just find something else to do it with LOL! My two boys hump constantly (well Jerry moreso than Winston now since I recently took down a toy that they were both, um, doing). With my guys there's no regurging and they don't do it on me so I've learned to live with it

But I totally agree - BOYS, they're always some sort of trouble!

Occy has become quite the Romeo! 2 nights ago he was on my lap screaming at my hand, grabbing it, rubbing it. Ive become oblivious to it. John said, "Why can he do that to you and I cant?" lol...So then I realize there was something all over me, and here he was regurgitating pasta for me, what a mess. Then yesterday, one of his toys was a mess, I figured he was doin his thang! He's the only one so far that goes that far with it. Buddy grunts and regurgitates. Alex struts and bites. Afa is the only girl, and well, she's just a hormonal psycho case!

If Sugar and Spice cuddle, I wonder if that will be enough - Jerry and Winston don't allow too much contact, just the beaking when they're warbling to each other. They both like to.....get busy.....with toys. We saw Winston doing it in the petstore before he came home, and Jerry's been at this for a few months at least

I experienced the regugitating for the first time last night with my linnie. She was on my head and my hubby says "She is throwing up in your hair" I told him that this was her way of showing love. Afew minutes later he says "Here comes more love". LOL I had to go brush all the seed out of my hair.

I am trying to picture what they actually do. This is all new to me. Do they actually hump like a dog might?

Occy does this weird posture thing. He kinda rolls his back and tucks his tail, then the next thing I know I feel his lower belly on me. Thats ALL Ive felt so far! But he grabs me and screams, and growls. Its all actually pretty funny. Now he has added to his screaming "STOP! STOP IT!"
