Baby doesn't have a lot of blue over her nares. I see pictures of BFA's that are reallly blue above their beak.
Will her's get bluer like theirs? The color appears right, but not the width or height of it. Or do some just have more than others? Or is it an age thing. I believe she is around 5.

The amount of blue and also the amount of yellow varies from bird to bird. Some have tons of blue, others have very little. It can change a little bit as the bird matures as i've seen some blue fronts get a little more yellow or a little more blue as they mature but again each bird is different. Being your blue front is already around 5 years of age I would say her coloring is what it will be at this time. Best wishes!

If she is five years old,she has probably gotten her colors. Is she getting proper lighting and diet? How often does she molt?

Yea, she is getting all of that. I think it's just her. I just wondered if it had to do with maturity..
She was a sweetie tonite. Now that I have her a little bit perch trained, I took her to another room she hasn't been in and we hung out awhile. I actually got some belly scratching in. FIRST!

Sounds like a real sweetheart. Purple, blue, orange...who cares, she is beautiful just the way she is.

i went searching through google images and there are over 6 different pages of images of the blue and i looked at them and they all seem to have a little different blue... i am not sure if i can put the link here so send me a private email and i will send it to you that way..

One of my dads Zon's is half blue front/half yellow front...I wonder who came up with the idea to mix the two..maybe they thought they would get a green front HA HA..well anyway Rambo has a bit of both colors

My BFA is now about 19 years old, I have had him for 12 years, many of the feathers he had that were blue have turned white, leaving only a few scattered blue ones now.
