Default Hand held perch

What kind of hand-held perch do you use? Did you buy it? Where? Manzanita is too slick to grip.
I live in the woods and can get oak/pine all day long, but Baby wants to EAT those instead of stepup on them.
Thanks!
Mark
Oh, and i have some wood in her cage as well for her to chew on.

Bottlebrush is soft and non slippery on the outside and very hard inside. It is chewable without being destroyable.

Bottlebrush...hmmm...
we ain't got none of that heren Tennessee.
Since I wanted to get her a playgym for the living room, I might see about gettting a playgym with a removeable perch made of something like that. Then I could use it around the house.
I believe, she is very clumsy. She moves a lot and she moves quickly. The other Zon I birdsat, Cecil, moved slow and sure footed. But he was 26. She is only 4-5 and gets excited and just moves before thinking sometimes, I believe. So, I need to get something she is sure footed on to increase her mental and physical stability.

My hand-held perch is a wooden spoon. Sometimes i just put it into the cage top as an extra outside perch as well.

My hand held perch costs nothing, its called a finger, they are connected to the hand....
& when the finger is bittened....one will always hear...OWEEEEEEEE.....
These fingers are reuseable....unless....a Macaw or Amazon is the stepper upper, in this case....then a doctors appointment will be in order and or much courage to maybe offer one of the other 4 fingers left....
Luv ya All!
Peace
Arty

Good one Arty!

Mark, I've never had to use a hand held perch with Ollie, but a few times I've left her in the care of my mother for an evening, and Ollie detests her. I leave her with one of Ollie's long Sandyperches should she need to transport her anywhere. It's one of the easiest perches for Ollie to grip.
