Default Chewing Like Toos

Cheech, my son calls these two "the beavers" and he's not kidding. Bad enough they love to try and chew off the leather from the entertainment center, and now the window sills...(in record time)....but I draw the line at my Crocs.

Toby will fly from anywhere when I'm wearing them. He clings to them as I walk around trying to get his beak in the holes.

This morning I was on the phone and they decided to attack the window sill so I put the Crocs up there and they were content.

Today I'm going to get them their OWN Crocs, the ones for toddlers at Walmart NOT another $30.00 pair!

Here's a couple photos (sorry I'm a poor photographer)

Wow cute, surely mini napoleons, size no object. I had no idea a p'lett could take on such a big chewing project.

They are big time chewers... I am forever replacing perches in my cages... It is amazing.. even the large perches... Wood toys.. gone in minutes...LOL... Thank goodness they can't gnaw through the metal cage bars....

Piper has it all figured out.

There are about 48 of these things on the wall unit and there are about 5 leather strips each so that's 240 chewable objects!

And then there's the seemingly unlimited window sills! She doesnt know I'm more determined and bigger (even if she IS a bit smarter...)

The window sill was 10 minutes unnoticed...actually TOBY started that one.

Chipper does not chew, on my belongings anyway. She does chew on her own toys and playgyms. She has so many wood toys and the playgyms too. She doesn't touch anything else.

They are so cute on the little crocs!

What to do? Rubber shoes is a nice trick on them. By the way those are sweet photos.

Rio is the chewer in my flock. He might be working on becoming like your guys! He's worrying the cages. So i'm wrapping the chipped paint areas with coloured twine. Looks kind of like a hippie hang out now.

Ain't it amazing what these little birds can do with those beaks?

BTW, love the pics of those "beavers"

Those pictures are too cute with the crocs chewers. How cute they like the same thing. Hopefully they aren't too picky with the colors when you get them their own. Tommaso loves to bite the buttons on the remote controls. We had a couple of extras that we gladly gave to him.
