are weeping figs or ficus trees okay? i'm thinking of getting 1 for winkie.

I know this doesn't seem too brilliant - but short of going to a plant dictionary - some of the names mean nothing to me. We have some plants in our living room, not where our bird is kept, that are poisonous & I'm working on changing them to ones that aren't poisonous & are low light.

Would it be possible/a good idea? ~ to start a list with photos attached to identify the plants for us who are plant challenged?

Figs are listed as toxic & ficus is a huge family - best to check it out carefully.
