Default Featherland feeders

Do any of you have a featherland cage and use this type of external water/feed setup? I'm interested in the water one cause Baby has a thing for pooping in water.

I don't have a FeatherLand cage, but have admired them from afar. From what I can tell, they are one of the highest quality cages available, and are very well designed, with meticulous attention to detail. The same goes for the feeder system. Looks to be very well engineered and built. If I were to win the lottery, all my fids would be in FeatherLand Stainless Steel cages.

I don't have a Featherland cage, but Kirby's cage has external feeders. I like them because I feel like he has more in cage space since there's no room being taken up by feed/water dishes. However I don't like them enough that I would be likely to spend more money to have a cage built that way. Of course - Kirby isn't one to poop in his water dish - so I guess that helps!

Have you tried getting a cover to put over her water dish? We have acrylic covers that we put over the tiels' water dish - it put a stop to them making poop soup.

I don't have the Featherland but Libby has one similar. I also use water bottles in each cage.

I had to go back and repost on this one. That external feeder is wonderful. I mean, occasionally Cleo makes some soup out of stuff, but not bad. It's really nice. She sticks her head in there and gets a good drink and there is sort of an echo. I think she likes hearing herself. LOL.
Since it's made for the cage, it just popped into where a door was easily popped out of. Nice and solid. And the outside clear plastic cover raises up.
I'm considering getting one for her pellets.
I love the Featherland cage and the external feeder.
Nicely done.

It seems that I hear very positive things about the external feeders from everyone who has them - makes me very curious about them and in the future I may look into them

Mark, do you mean that this feeder is made for the cage you already have? I'd like to invest in these for Ollie, but I'm not sure if it would attach to her cage...
